| What is a Service Dog? |
| Service dogs are trained to assist people with mobility impairments. Skills include retrieving dropped items, opening and closing doors, and turning on and off lights. |
| If you are interested in receiving a service dog, a two week training camp is mandatory. After successful completion of this training camp, you and your dog will graduate as a service dog team. You receive ownership of the dog after 6 months. |
